I work with audio and video that needs care, judgement and technical experience rather than presets or one-click fixes. Much of my work involves improving recordings that were made in less-than-ideal conditions and helping them sound clear, natural and professional again.

I have worked with sound and music for over three decades.

My background includes:

I hold a degree in Music and have produced and worked on multiple music releases, as well as audio for video, training content and online platforms.

Alongside music and sound engineering, I have extensive experience editing video and synchronising audio for clarity, pacing and impact.

I approach every project individually.

Rather than applying generic processing, I listen carefully to what the audio needs and what the final use requires. My aim is always clarity, intelligibility and a natural sound that translates well across devices, especially phones and laptops.

When working with video, I pay particular attention to how sound supports the visual message, whether that is authority, warmth, intimacy or presence.

If a recording has limitations, I explain them honestly. If improvement is possible, I focus on achieving the best realistic outcome rather than artificial perfection.
